This dataset collection for sedimentary petrology contains petrographic imaging by light and scanning electron microscopy for sandstones, mudrocks, and other sedimentary materials, along with sample metadata and some analytical data. Datasets were created at the University of Texas at Austin beginning in the early 1980s. Posted materials include published and unpublished projects, both funded and unfunded.
