Notes
| The area was originally mapped in the 1940s and 1950s by geologists under the direction of Virgil E. Barnes (1952, 1963, 1965, 1978a, 1978b, 1981, 1982). Basemaps were either planimetric or used the topographic quadrangles available during that period. A STATEMAP revision of the Pedernales Falls quadrangle (Woodruff and others, 2019) demonstrated the potential improvement of revising the quadrangles with modern basemaps and new field data. |
