Description	Informe al Virrey Antonio María de Bucareli y Ursúa sobre el estado de los soldados voluntarios de Cataluña. Según el fraile, los soldados están solicitando licencias para abandonar el servicio, establecerse y obtener un salario y ración de acuerdo con los nuevos reglamentos que ofrecen beneficios a los marineros. El autor argumenta que los soldados deberían tener permiso para establecerse como colonos en aras del éxito de las misiones y nuevos asentamientos. El autor también discute la posible situación de vivencia de los soldados casados con neófitas de las misiones. Serra concluye solicitando la asignación de ganado a los soldados (lo cual sería descontado de sus salarios) y licencias para que puedan establecerse. —— Report to Viceroy Antonio Maria de Bucareli y Ursua on the state of volunteer soldiers from Catalonia. According to the friar, the soldiers are requesting licenses to leave service, settle, and obtain a salary and ration per the new regulations that offer benefits to sailors. The author argues that the soldiers should be allowed to establish themselves as settlers for the success of missions and new settlements. The author also discusses the potential living situation of soldiers married to neophytes from the missions. Serra concludes by requesting the allocation of livestock to the soldiers (which would be charged against their wages) and licenses for them to settle. 2 f. (4 p.) (1774-08-24)
