Description	Informe al Virrey Antonio María de Bucareli y Ursúa sobre el viaje y la llegada a la bahía de San Carlos de Monterey de una fragata real enviada para nuevas exploraciones. El Padre Crespí y el Padre Peña viajaron en el barco y llegaron sanos y salvos a la misión al día siguiente. El autor señaló las discrepancias entre los relatos de los soldados y los religiosos sobre cómo transcurrió la expedición, por lo que está presentando los diarios de los religiosos al virrey como relatos fieles del viaje. El informe menciona los desafíos enfrentados durante la expedición y el encuentro providencial con los pueblos indígenas, que llegaron en numerosas canoas, desmintiendo las concepciones erróneas anteriores sobre la inhabitabilidad del área. —— Report to Viceroy Antonio Maria de Bucareli y Ursua on the voyage and arrival in the San Carlos de Monterey port of a royal frigate sent for new explorations.
