Carta al presidente de las misiones de la Baja California comunicando la recepción de una carta donde el presidente busca abordar una queja del gobierno real local. El gobierno se quejó de que los dominicos infringieron las medidas para prevenir el contrabando y proteger los recursos fiscales cuando bordaron una fragata filipina al Cabo de San José. Se espera que el presidente y los religiosos sigan las directrices para establecer un buen ejemplo para los habitantes locales y evitar fraudes contra la real hacienda. —— Letter to the president of the missions in Baja California informing about the receipt of a previous letter where the president aims to address a complaint from the local royal government. The government complained that the Dominicans violated measures to prevent smuggling and protect fiscal resources when they boarded a Philippine frigate at Cabo de San José. It is expected that the president and the friars will follow the guidelines to set a good example for the local inhabitants and prevent fraud against the royal treasury. 1 f. (2 p.) (1776-03-20)
