Notes
| Directories: "lake_shps": This directory contains all the Esri ArcGIS shapefiles and associated files of coupled (CO) lake systems (naming is expressed as e.g., CO_13 meaning coupled basin lake number 13). This is based on the full list of lake systems in Stucky de Quay et al. (2021, GRL). These outlines are used to denote climate model data extent (see below). "model_precipitation_grids": This directory contains individual climate grids for each coupled system (model preciptiation rate) in netcdf format (.nc). These were obtained from the sources abbreviated in each of the subdirectory names (see manscript and SI for full list of studies). These are in meters per Earth year (and log10). File names correspond to each individual grid over each coupled lake system extent (using boundaries from lake_shps above). "model_precipitation_vals_log10myr": Directory with files containing the precipitation rates within the 7 coupled lakes in study (within the lake_shps boundaries). Column 1 provides system name, and column 2 is the precipitation value. Values are in the log10(m / Earth yr). See 'https://github.com/gaiastucky' for additional / up-to-date information. |
