Instrucción impresa de salud pública sobre el tratamiento de la tos epidémica en niños. La publicación describe las tres etapas de la enfermedad (inicio, aumento y disminución) y recomienda ciertos tratamientos para cada etapa, incluyendo restricciones dietéticas, remedios inductores de vómito, purgas leves, sangrías y el uso de varios medicamentos y remedios de apoyo (agua de canela, infusión de hierbas y sedantes). En conclusión, la Junta de Salud Pública insta a los padres a seguir estas instrucciones para el bienestar de sus hijos. También les asegura que los casos de viruela que se han visto en la capital pueden ser tratados fácilmente mediante métodos sencillos, mencionando además la disponibilidad de la vacunación. —— Printed public health instruction on the treatment of epidemic cough in children. Palacios used Scanner Pro (phone application) to photograph and automatically transcribe the original publication. He then used ChatGPT to automatically correct the misspellings in the raw OCR text. He manually compared the ChatGPT output with the original printed text and made corrections, keeping the application's modernization of word spelling. The transcription deposited here is the corrected outcome. For the translation, Palacios re-inputted the corrected transcription into ChatGPT to correct/modernize the grammar and generate an English translation. Palacios manually reviewed and edited the automatic translation using the original text. The description in this metadata record was also generated using ChatGPT and Palacios edited for accuracy. The whole process occurred 2023 May 28.
