Cyril’s work aims to characterize the environments of planetary bodies in the solar system and to understand their fundamental evolution processes, especially with space-born radar instruments. His research interests are focused on planetary analogs (Antarctica/Arctic), surface properties inversion, planetary landing site selection, and radar wave propagation in planetary ionospheres.

Grima, Cyril, 2024, "MARSIS Surface Reflectivity", https://doi.org/10.18738/T8/UOPDFF, Texas Data Repository, V2, UNF:6:tAGPpwba4sMg6HxxLhYvHA== [fileUNF]
Surface reflectivity of the Mars Advanced Radar for Subsurface and Ionosphere Sounding (MARSIS), supported by NASA grant #80NSSC23K1161. We use data from the Optimized MARSIS Radargram dataset (https://pds-geosciences.wustl.edu/mex/urn-nasa-pds-mex_marsis_optim). Our analysis is...

Grima, Cyril, 2022, "Replication Data for: Investigating the Martian Surface at Decametric Scale: Population, Distribution and Dimension of Hetereogeneities from Radar Statistics", https://doi.org/10.18738/T8/GR884G, Texas Data Repository, V1, UNF:6:ldPbCV//UPFfhB+ucCHCAQ== [fileUNF]
Building on one decade of theory and methodology maturation, we investigate the coherent and incoherent components of the response of the Martian surface to nadir-looking orbital radar. We apply a reflectometry technique known as radar statistical reconnaissance to Mars Reconnais...

Grima, Cyril, 2021, "Replication Data for: The Basal Detectability of an Ice-covered Mars by MARSIS", https://doi.org/10.18738/T8/HMNDH1, Texas Data Repository, V2, UNF:6:Q6uA5EM1VDG/qPbeoHSNXg== [fileUNF]
The detection of anomalously strong relative basal reflectivity beneath the Martian South Polar Layered Deposits (SPLD) from the Mars Advanced Radar for Subsurface and Ionosphere Sounding (MARSIS) has led to hypotheses suggesting the presence of basal materials such as liquid wat...
Tabular Data - 5.4 MB - 3 Variables, 173450 Observations - UNF:6:Q6uA5EM1VDG/qPbeoHSNXg==
Surface reflectivity normalized to the SPLD surface reflection at 192-194E and 80-82S (the so-called R_{13}/R_{12} in the main paper). Data are binned into a 0.5deg x 0.5deg grid. The data format is a comma-separated-value file with three columns. The first and second columns are...
